VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
12 oz. box vanilla wafers
1 c. pecans
7 oz. coconut
1/2 c. milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add milk and crushed vanilla wafers alternately. Add coconut. Fold in chipped pecans. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for about 1 hour and 13 minutes at 275 degrees.
