AUNT DOT'S WHIPPED PASTRY 
This is the lightest pastry recipe I have ever tasted and has been handed down in my family for generations.

1 1/2 cups shortening (Crisco)
1/2 cup boiling water
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. milk
4 cups all-purpose flour

Put shortening into bowl; add boiling water and salt. When blended add the milk. Stir and add flour and mix until it is just blended. Chill before using or, roll between two pieces of waxed paper.

Makes 2 crusts.
