BAKED LASAGNA 
1 lb. pkg. lasagna
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. onions, chopped
1 clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic
1 tsp. parsley
2 to 4 cups of water
2 large cans tomato paste
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. mozzarella cheese
1 lb. cottage or ricotta cheese
1 1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1 can mushrooms

Cook lasagna according to package directions. Meanwhile cook ground beef in large heavy sauce pan until browned, drain grease. Add onion, garlic, parsley, mushrooms, water, tomato paste, pepper and salt. Bring to boil, turn heat low and let simmer gently for about 30 to 40 minutes.

In a greased pan arrange several alternate layers of cooked and drained lasagna, meat sauce and cheeses. Start with layer of lasagna and end with a layer of cheese. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.

Bake in oven 350°F for about 20 to 25 minutes or until entire cheese is melted.
