SOFT SUGAR COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. butter
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
4 c. flour plus

Mix ingredients until you have a stiff dough. Refrigerate dough for several hours. Roll out dough on floured surface and cut desired shapes. Bake at 350 degrees until cookies are firm, but not brown, 12-15 minutes.
