CORN BREAD 
1 c. cornmeal (self-rising)
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 stick butter
3/4 c. flour (plain)
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. sweet milk

Put butter in baking pan. Set oven at 400 degrees. Melt butter. Stir together all other ingredients. Pour in butter. Stir and pour into pan. Bake 20 minutes in 400 degree oven.
