MOM'S APPLE CUSTARD PIE 
3 c. applesauce (sweetened)
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 or 2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 stick butter, melted

Mix ingredients. Put into pie crust. Bake at 425 degrees on preheated cookie sheet for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350 degrees and bake for approximately 1/2 hour (or until thin knife, inserted near center, comes out clean).

Cover with meringue and bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned.
