CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS 
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Line muffin pan with paper baking cups. Melt butter in microwave on low. In large bowl beat milk, butter and eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients all at once. Stir until flour is moistened. Batter will be lumpy. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool 5 minutes. Serve with butter. Makes 12 muffins.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
