APPLE PANDOWDY | |
1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 2 c. flour 2 c. milk 1 c. butter, melted 1 qt. apples, pared & sliced 1. Mix sugar, salt and flour. 2. Gradually add milk to above dry mixture to make a smooth batter. 3. Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with some of the butter; add the remaining butter and apples to the batter. 4. Mix batter and pour into pan. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes until brown. Yield: 12 portions. |
