EASY DANISH PASTRY 
1 c. flour
1/4 lb. butter
2 tbsp. water

Mix the ingredients like pie crust, and pat into 2 oblongs on a cookie sheet until around 1/2 inch thick.

INSIDE:

1 c. water
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract

Bring the water and the butter to a boil, remove from heat and immediately add 1 cup flour, using an electric beater, mix well, then add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition, add 1 teaspoon of each mixture. Spoon the inside mixture evenly over the two crusts. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or until golden brown.

FROSTING:

1 tbsp. softened butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Dash of salt
Milk

Mix the frosting ingredients together, adding just enough milk to make a soft frosting. Frost pasties when cool. Slice and serve.
