TOAD IN THE HOLE | |
1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 c. flour 1 1/4 c. milk 1 lb. sausages 1 tbsp. fat Make a batter with flour, salt, egg and milk. Leave to stand for 1/2 hour. Heat fat in rectangular pan until very hot. Place sausages around pan. Pour batter over and bake in hot oven, 425 degrees, for 30 minutes. |
