7 MINUTE WHITE FROSTING 
4 lg. egg whites, at room temperature
1 1/2 c. Dixie Crystals granulated sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Combine the egg whites, sugars, corn syrup, cream of tartar, salt and water in a large metal bowl. Stir until blended, then set over a saucepan of boiling water (the water should not touch the bowl). Beat the mixture with an electric mixer for 7 minutes (high speed), or until the frosting expands in volume and holds stiff peaks. Remove the bowl from the heat. Add the vanilla and almond extract and beat the frosting at high speed until cool.
