1/2 c. butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. cream

Thoroughly cream butter and sugar, then add vanilla. Beat until right consistency for spreading. For chocolate flavor add 3 tablespoons cocoa.
