CRISPY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. 40% Bran Flakes

Mix flour, soda and salt, set aside. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Add peanut butter and blend well. Add flour, mix alternately with milk, mixing thoroughly. Add vanilla and fold in cereal.

Drop from teaspoon onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 4 1/2 to 5 dozen cookies.
