1 c. salt 2 qts. cold water Beef (extra lean) Garlic 2 bay leaves 2 tsp. pickling spice Trim all fat from beef. Mix together water, salt and spices. Put a plate over beef to hold it in the brine. Allow to set for 48 hours. |
