LEMON GLAZED BREAD 
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
Grated peel of lemon
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix oil, sugar and eggs. Add milk and grated lemon peel. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add the flour mixture and sugar mixture together and mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Remove from oven and poke holes in bread with a toothpick and pour topping over the bread.

TOPPING: 1/2 cup granulated sugar mixed with the juice of 1 lemon. Let cool 1/2 hour before removing from pan. Top with confectionery sugar if you wish.
