APPLESAUCE 
8 c. apples, pared, cored & sliced
1/2 to 1 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. canned apple juice

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 20 to 25 minutes. Stir occasionally. Makes 4 cups.
