GINGERBREAD (EA) 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. molasses (dark Karo)
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. ginger
1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tbsp. nutmeg

Cream shortening and sugar. Add rest of ingredients. Beat 2 minutes. Pour into pan which has been lined with waxed paper. Bake about 35 minutes in a moderate oven.
