PISTACHIO TORTE | |
1 c. flour 2 tbsp. sugar 1 cube butter 1/4 c. chopped nuts 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 2/3 c. powdered sugar 1/2 of 9 oz. Cool Whip 2 pkg. instant pistachio pudding 2 1/2 c. milk 1/2 of 9 oz. Cool Whip Chopped nuts STEP I: Mix flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, butter and 1/4 cup chopped nuts. Press into a Pam sprayed cake pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. STEP II: Beat and put on crust the cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1/2 of 9 ounce Cool Whip. STEP III: Beat until thick the 2 packages of pudding and milk. Pour over Step 2. Then spread rest of Cool Whip on top of that and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Maraschino cherries may also be used on top for garnish. |
