SANGRIA 
1 orange (sliced)
1/4 c. sugar (or to taste)
2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 sm. lemon, halved lengthwise and sliced crosswise
4 c. dry red wine (750 ml.)
2 c. ice cubes
2 c. club soda (or 7-Up)
1 c. brandy (optional)

Mix all ingredients except ice cubes and soda. Refrigerate several hours. Just before serving, add cubes and soda. Makes about 8 cups.
