GRANNY'S PICKLED BEANS 
7 qt. broken beans (green or snap beans)
7 pt. water
1 pt. vinegar
1/2 pt. sugar
1/2 c. salt

Measure water, vinegar, sugar and salt into canner. Place on stove to dissolve sugar and salt. Add broken beans and let boil for 30 minutes. Fill hot jars and seal.
