2 c. buttermilk
2 (3 1/2 oz. size) pkgs. vanilla instant pudding
1 lg. 16 oz. Cool Whip
2 cans (sm.) mandarin oranges
1 pkg. striped cookies (Keebler's striped shortbread cookies)

Mix buttermilk and instant pudding really well with spoon. Fold in Cool Whip and oranges. Just before serving add the cookies (crushed up with your hands, do NOT use rolling pin.)
