GRANDMA PAT'S LASAGNA | |
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck 1 clove garlic 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. salt 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce 24 oz. cottage cheese 2 beaten eggs 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. parsley 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1 lb. Mozzarella Brown meat; drain fat. Add next 6 ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes to blend flavors; stir occasionally. Cook 12 lasagna noodles and rinse in cold water. Combine cottage cheese with eggs, salt, pepper, parsley, and Parmesan. Place 4 noodles in bottom of 13 x 9 pan. Top with layer of cottage cheese mixture, a layer of Mozzarella and then meat sauce. Repeat twice. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. |
