HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
2 - 2 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla or to taste
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1/2 gal. sweet milk

Cream sugar and eggs. Add vanilla, then can of evaporated milk. Pour into ice cream churn and add sweet milk to within 2 1/2 inches of top. Freeze until hard.
