VEGETABLES AU GRATIN | |
1 pkg. cut broccoli, 10 oz. 1 pkg. cauliflower, 10 oz. 4 oz. can chopped mushrooms 1 can cream of mushroom soup 3/4 c. sharp American cheese, shredded 1/3 c. white wine (dry) 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 10x6x2 baking dish Cook broccoli and cauliflower in 1/2 cup water in saucepan (covered) until tender, 12-15 minutes. Drain. Drain mushrooms and add to vegetables. Put in baking dish. In a saucepan combine soup, cheese, wine and Worcestershire sauce well over low heat until cheese melts. Pour over vegetables and sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees until hot (about 20 minutes). Serves 6 to 8. |
