GREEN BEAN PIQUANTE 
2 tbsp. chopped onions
3 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
Pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. top milk
1/2 c. vegetable liquor
1 pimento, chopped
1/4 c. grated cheese
2 c. hot green beans

Cook onion in shortening until golden. Add flour and seasoning. Blend gradually adding milk and vegetable liquor. Cook over low flame until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from flame. Add pimento and cheese and stir until cheese melts. Pour over beans and serve. Serves 6.
