ALLA CARBONARA (With Bacon) 
2 lb. spaghetti
2 tbsp. olive oil
5 oz. thick sliced or chunk bacon, cut to cubes
3 tbsp. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper to taste

Start the spaghetti cooking in boiling water while browning bacon in oil. Drain cooked bacon and set aside.

In bowl, mix eggs, pepper, salt, cream and Parmesan cheese. In large skillet, melt butter over low heat. When butter becomes golden in color, add egg mixture. When mixture begins to thicken, add drained cooked spaghetti and the browned bacon. Quickly mix and serve. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top. Serves 6.
