CRANBERRY NUT BREAD 
1 c. cranberries
1 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. salt
Grated rind of 1 orange
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted butter

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Grease and flour 1 loaf pan.

3. Put cranberries through a food chopper; mix with 1/4 cup sugar.

4. Sift remaining sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.

5. Add nuts and orange rind.

6. Beat egg slightly.

7. Combine egg with milk and melted butter; add to first mixture.

8. Fold in cranberries.

9. Bake 1 hour.
