BLACKHOUSE WINTER PICKLES 
2 (No. 2) cans tomatoes
2 green peppers, chopped fine
2 med. onions, chopped fine
2 ribs celery, chopped fine
1 c. cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. mustard seed
2 (1 inch) piece stick cinnamon
1 c. raisins

Place tomatoes in kettle; stir until hot and broken up. Add all ingredients except raisins. Boil slowly for 1/2 hour; add raisins and cook until rich and thick. Pour into pint jars and seal well.
