CRACKER JACK | |
2 1/2 tbsp. butter 1 c. molasses 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 5 qts. popped corn Melt butter, add sugar, salt, molasses. Boil to hard crack stage. Pour over corn. Stir while pouring. Spread in thin layer to cool. Break in pieces. NOTE: Syrup may be cooked in a deep bowl in a microwave oven for 10 minutes instead of boiling. |
