GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
15 lb. green tomatoes
2 lb. onions
12 red & green peppers
1/2 gal. vinegar
5 lb. sugar
1/2 c. salt
2 tbsp. pickling spice (tied in bag)
1 tsp. turmeric

Grind tomatoes, onions and peppers. Sprinkle salt on vegetables. Mix well. Cover with boiling water. Cool and drain well. Add sugar, vinegar, spices and turmeric. Simmer for 1 hour. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
