POTATO SURPRISE 
4 med. potatoes
1 c. sour cream
1 sm. pkg. sharp Cheddar
1 c. bread crumbs
1/2 stick butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil potatoes until cooked, not soft. Slice cross-wise into rounds (approximately 1/4 inch thick). Grease pie plate or casserole dish with butter. Dust with bread crumbs. Put 1 layer of sliced potatoes. Dot with sour cream and grated cheese. Add layers of potatoes, sour cream and cheese. Top with sprinkled bread crumbs. Bake 30 minutes.
