STRAWBERRY PARFAIT PIE 
4 lbs. frozen strawberries
2 1/2 qts. strawberry ice cream
2 2/3 c. sugar
8 baked (9 inch) pie shells
2 2/3 c. strawberry or lemon jelly powder
2 qts. strawberry juice, plus water heated

Combine strawberries and sugar. Heat until fruit thaws and sugar is dissolved. Drain in colander, reserving juice. Chop berries and cool thoroughly.

Dissolve Jello in the hot liquid. Chill over crushed ice until as thick as honey. Beat mixture 12 minutes at medium speed, until double in bulk and thick and fluffy.
