OVERNIGHT VEGGIE SALAD | |
2 c. shredded cabbage 1 can peas, drained 1 can water chestnuts, drained 1/4 c. chopped green onion 3/4 c. chopped celery 1 lg. red apple, chopped 1/4 tsp. salt DRESSING: 1/2 c. sour cream 1/2 c. salad dressing 1 tbsp. sugar 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 c. pecans or walnuts Mix first 7 ingredients; toss. Add dressing sealing edges. A layer of grated cheese and nuts on top. Chill 8 hours. Will keep a week in refrigerator. Toss before serving. |
