BREAD PUDDING 
9 slices bread
1 c. sugar
1 large can Pet milk
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1/2 c. melted butter

Put bread in long baking dish. Mix other ingredients and pour over bread.

Bake at 400°F until knife inserted in it will come out clean. While cake is cooking, mix your topping.

Topping:

1 stick butter
1 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. rum flavoring
raisings (optional)

Bring to boil butter and water. Mix other ingredients and add to this. Cook on top of stove until it is clear and shiny. Serve this over pudding. Can put raisins on top of pudding right before it's done.
