TUNA-CHEESE PUFF | |
2 slices whole wheat bread, cubed 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 can tuna, drained 3/4 c. milk 2 eggs, separated 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. butter, melted Mix 1 1/2 cups bread, cheese, tuna, milk, egg yolks, lemon juice, salt and onion. Beat egg whites until stiff, fold into the tuna mixture. Pour into a greased 1 quart casserole. Crush 1/2 cup bread cubes, sprinkle on top and melted butter. Bake uncovered until set in the center. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. |
