SUSAN'S SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN | |
1 frying chicken, cut up 1 pt. chicken livers 2 c. flour 1 c. pkg. pancake mix 1 tbsp. fried chicken seasoning 1 tbsp. crushed parsley 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. ground black pepper 2-3 c. cooking oil with 2 tbsp. melted butter Mix flour, pancake mix and seasoning in large bowl. Wash chicken pieces (not livers) and coat with flour mixtures. Place in frying pan of hot oil with melted butter. Add enough oil to cover at least 1/2 of chicken pieces. Cook approximately 15 minutes per side or until golden brown, uncovered. Place on paper towel to drain. Drain chicken livers, wash and coat with flour mixture. Fry after chicken finishes in same oil until golden brown and enjoy! |
