SLICED SANDWICH PICKLE 
1 head dill
1 clove garlic
1 hot chili pepper

1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. pickling salt

Pour hot liquid over pickles and seal immediately. Let set 3 to 4 weeks before using. (I process these in hot water bath, for a few moments to insure a good seal.)
