SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 med. potatoes, sliced thin
1 lg. onion, sliced thin & separate into rings
3/4 c. diced ham
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems & pieces
3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. cream of mushroom soup
1 can of milk
1/2 stick butter
Salt & pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease 3 quart casserole. Divide ham, onion rings, potatoes, mushrooms and cheese into 3 equal portions. Beginning with potatoes alternate layers of potatoes, ham, onion rings, mushrooms and cheese. Dab each layer with butter, finishing the top layer with cheese.

In a small saucepan heat milk and cream of mushroom soup until soup is dissolved, pour over potatoes and cover with lid. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45-60 minutes.
