Round Steak, cut into serving pieces flour salt pepper garlic salt Cut round steak into serving pieces. Pound flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt into steak. Brown in fry pan on both sides. Place in dutch oven. Add hot water to meat drippings in pan. Add a little flour, bring to boil and pour over meat. This should be thin as it thickens while baking. Bake in a slow oven (300°F) for about 3 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes. |
