SQUASH CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. yellow squash
1 tsp. salt and pepper
2 tsp. butter

Cut squash in 1/2 inch thick slices.

Place in layers in greased 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkling layers with salt and pepper. Dot butter until all is used.

Cover. Bake hot oven of 400 degrees for 1 hour until squash are tender. May use sliced onions if desired.
