HAM CASSEROLE 
2 slices cook ham, diced
6 med. potatoes, cooked & sliced
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. mixed vegetables, cooked

SAUCE:

1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. milk
Dash of salt
1 1/2 c. grated cheese

CASSEROLE TOPPING:

2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. soft bread crumbs

For sauce, melt butter, stir in flour and gradually add milk, stirring until thick. Add salt and cheese, cooking slowly until cheese is melted. Arrange potatoes in a 9"x13" baking pan or 2 1/2 to 3 quart pan. Cover with vegetables. Pour half of sauce over vegetables. Add ham and remaining sauce. Mix bread crumbs and butter and sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until brown. Serves 10 to 12 people.
