4 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. white Karo
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
Pinch of salt
1 c. peanut butter

Mix all ingredients except peanut butter. Cook to softball stage, remove from heat. Add 1 cup peanut butter, when almost cool, beat until thick and pour into buttered 9 x 12 inch pan.
