1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 4 ingredients; beat well. Add eggs and beat again. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop small balls of dough on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten slightly with a fork.

Bake in 350°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
