6 med. potatoes
1 lg. onion
1 tsp. bacon bits
1 cube butter
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 tsp. chopped chives

Boil potatoes until tender, then slice into casserole dish. Cook onions in butter until tender. Mix in sour cream, bacon bits, chives. Salt and pepper potatoes.
