LEMON ICE BOX PIE 
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 egg yolks, beaten light
1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
3 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
Vanilla wafer crust

Add sweetened condensed milk (be sure it is condensed and not merely evaporated) to beaten egg yolks and beat thoroughly. If beaten long enough (and it must be) it will become fluffy and may even stand in peaks. Stir in lemon juice and rind. Spoon into vanilla wafer or graham cracker crust. Top with meringue made of egg whites and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees until meringue browns, about ten minutes. Chill before serving.
