CHEESE STRAWS 
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 lb. med. sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 sticks butter, softened
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

Grate cheese. Blend with butter, flour and pepper. Put mixture in cookie press. Use the star plate and cut in 3 to 4 inch lengths. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes (do not brown). These will freeze well.
