ROULADEN (BEEF ROLL - UPS) 
Round steak or rump roast (sliced thin 1/4")
Dill pickles, 1/4 wedges
Onions, diced
Sausage, bulk
Bacon, thin strips
Mustard
Salt & pepper

Pound meat to make thinner. Cut into 2 1/2 x 4 inch strips. Put salt and pepper on meat. Layer with mustard, onion, pickle wedge, bacon and 1 teaspoon sausage, on each slice of meat. Roll up and fasten with wooden toothpicks.

Brown meat in 5 quart kettle, with 2 tablespoons cooking oil. Turn meat once while browning. When brown, turn heat to low, add approximately 1 cup water. Cover and simmer until tender, approximately 1 hour or more. Make a luscious brown gravy with cornstarch. Enjoy!
