CRISPY CORN FRITTERS | |
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 egg, beaten 1/2 c. milk 1 tbsp. melted butter 2 c. fresh corn, cut from the cob Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk and butter and stir into dry ingredients. Add corn and mix well. Drop spoonfuls of batter into oil that has been preheated to 375 degrees. Fry until browned on both sides. |
