HAMBURGER BAKE CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
2 1/2 tsp. butter
1 lb. hamburger
Salt, pepper, garlic salt
1 (22 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. sour cream

Cook noodles as usual. Drain. Fry hamburger in butter. Season. Add sugar to tomato sauce. Cream together cream cheese and onions. Blend in sour cream.

In 3-quart casserole dish, put layer of hamburger, then tomato sauce, then add layer of noodles, dot with cream mixture. Repeat. Cream mixture on top. OPTIONAL: Top with grated Cheddar cheese or buttered cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
