BROILED PARMESAN POTATOES 
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. crushed dried basil
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 med. potatoes, bias sliced, 1/4 inch thick
1/4 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Stir together butter, basil, paprika, garlic powder and pepper. Place potato slices in a single layer on unheated rack of broiler pan. Brush butter mixture over both sides of potato slices. Broil about five inches from heat 8 to 9 minutes (until they begin to brown). Turn potatoes; sprinkle with cheese. Broil 4 to 6 minutes. Serves 4.
